I Made Dinner!

Tonight I made dinner for my roomies and I and not to toot my own horn but it was pretty de-LISH. I made turkey cheeseburgers, asparagus and guacamole for the appetizer. Here are the recipes and instructions in case you want to try it for yourself:

Turkey Cheeseburgers
Ingredients:
1 lb. of ground turkey
1 package of onion soup - we used Lipton brand
1/4 - 1/2 onion finely chopped (depending on how much onion you like)
salt & pepper (dash of each)
Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and then form them into 3 - 4 patties depending on how thick you like your patties. Stick them on the grill (we used a George Forman - but you can use a regular grill obviously) and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes. Add whatever toppings you like to your burger and enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 bundle of asparagus
extra virgin olive oil
sea salt
parmesan cheese
foil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover a large cookie sheet with foil. Cut off the bottom (the tough part) of the asparagus and place on cooking sheet in a row. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and sea salt and bake for 12 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan while hot. Enjoy!

Guacamole
Ingredients:
2 avocados
1/2 tomato chopped
1/4 onion chopped
garlic salt
fresh squeezed lime juice (1 or 2 wedges)
crushed red pepper flakes (if you like a little kick)
Carve out the pit and the skin of the avocados and smash together in a bowl. Add garlic salt, lime juice, (red pepper flakes) tomato and onion and mix together. Cover and put it in the fridge for about 20-40 min to chill. Enjoy!
