TWL

A friend of mine at work recently started an online accessory company that offers a variety of jewelry, clothing, bags and scarves for a fraction of the retail price! Check out some of my favorites from her site TrendsWeLove:

Long Time, No Post

Hello old friends...
I'll spare you the "I've been so busy..." speech and just skip to a couple songs that I am loving lately.

Wildfox

A friend of mine rolled in with the softest most awesome white t-shirt I have ever seen in my 24 + years today... it was Wildfox. As I swooned over it and praised it's softness I immediately found my top five Wildfox tees:

Summer Sale Essentials

Shopbop is in the middle of it's greatest sale ever... and there are so many awesome options for this crazy hot summer. I have picked out some of my favorite things from the sale...

Shocked

Truthfully, I am shocked that I am about to put this out there:

I like this song, like a lot. I sing it at the top of my lungs in my car far too often.

It's by Demi Lovato, which is why I'm shocked I like it so much.

Memorial Day Weekend

TGIF. Am I right?
I am so excited for this holiday weekend. It also marks a year since I moved back to Dallas and have loved every minute of it. I am so thankful to have my amazing friends and family here and a job that I truly adore. I am such a lucky girl. This weekend will be spent lounging in the sun with fun people and I have never been so excited.

Here are some recipes for your Memorial Day weekend festivities:

Determination

There is this purse - it's super simple but beautiful and it will go with everything and a cross-body so it will be super easy to keep track of (what every girl needs). I want this purse, I want it bad. I have so many plans for traveling this year and this bag will be my perfect sidekick. Check it out - along with some others from marc by marc jacobs:

Friday Afternoon Laughs

Tough Cooking

Today at work we are having a little Mother's Day celebration in which everyone is bringing some sort of snack situation. Normally I forget and end up picking up donuts or bagels on the way in but this time I remembered ahead of time and got a fabulous recipe from my pal Kimber. She used to make said recipe in college for tailgates, parties and sometimes just to fatten us all up so of course I wanted to get my hands on it. It is SO easy and SO delicious and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy app.

Here goes:
(I doubled up because it was for work but normally it is half the ingredients)

You will need:

A bowl for mixing
16 oz. of Plain Cream Cheese (I used  the Philadelphia Light)
16 oz. of Sour Cream (I used Daisy Light)
2 Cans of Refried Beans
2 Packets of Taco Seasoning (Old El Paso is by far my favorite taco seasoning - I got one original and one hot & spicy to heat it up a bit)
1 package of shredded Mexican Cheese

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees

Get all of your ingredients together

Put the cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning in the bowl and mix it all up

Then add your refried beans and mix until there are no lumps

Should look something like this - not very appetizing I know...

Then pour into your baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top and bake for about 20 - 22 minutes or until its bubbling.

Enjoy with tortilla chips!

Thank you Kimber!
